TRAC, the Trails for Richmond Action Committee, is raising $16,000 to produce a short film telling the story of Point San Pablo's rich history and promising future as part of a Regional Shoreline Park on the western side of the Point San Pablo Peninsula — anchored by an extension of the San Francisco Bay Trail from Point Molate to Point San Pablo Harbor.
The film will introduce audiences to the extraordinary potential of Point San Pablo as a natural extension of Point Molate and a future piece of a connected regional shoreline park. Through cinematic imagery, aerial photography, archival materials, and compelling narration, it will showcase one of the Bay Area's most remarkable yet largely unknown landscapes — and present an inspiring vision for its future as a place of public access, recreation, environmental stewardship, and community connection.
