RCF Connects Invites You to an Equity for Black Women and Girls Funders Briefing
Dear Foundation Leader,

On behalf of our Board of Directors and Staff, I would like to invite you to a special Funders Briefing on RCF Connects’ Equity for Black Women and Girls Report. The briefing is scheduled for Monday, April 18 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Zoom.

In October 2020, Dr. Cynthia LeBlanc, RCF Connects’ Board Chair, recommended that RCF Connects’ recently adopted equity statement be actualized through a board initiative to address equity for Black Women and Girls in Contra Costa County. RCF Connects issued a Request for Proposal in January 2021 for an Equity for Black Women and Girls study and report.

Join the members of the Equity for Black Women and Girls Taskforce as they share the results and recommendations of the study. The Taskforce represents a collaboration of community leaders, and will oversee an effort to create an awareness campaign to help inform the public of the inequities experienced by Black Women and Girls in our community and to ensure Black Women and Girls gain access to the resources that can help them overcome and change current policies, practices and attitudes that are root causes of the inequities that we see today. An Executive Summary and Full Report will be provided to all attendees.

I hope you can join us for this important briefing. Thank you.

Expect a follow-up with zoom link upon completing registration
